Noir resume template
A dramatic dark-mode resume for people who want to be remembered.
Noir inverts the usual resume: a near-black page with light text, an editorial header, and a single colored accent rule for contrast. The sections use magazine-style labels — Profile, Experience, Education, Skills, Projects, Certifications, References — arranged in one calm column with no photo.

Will Noir pass applicant tracking systems?
Honest assessment: Noir is the least ATS-safe template in this collection. Dark backgrounds can confuse some parsers and print poorly on office printers, so it is best for direct applications, email attachments and portfolio submissions where a human opens the file — not for uploading into large corporate applicant tracking systems. All text is real and selectable, so nothing is hidden, but parsing order and color contrast are not guaranteed in every system.
Every Cvyon template exports through your browser's print-to-PDF, so the text layer stays selectable and searchable — the thing parsers actually read. After downloading, run your resume through our free ATS grader to confirm it scores well before you apply.

Questions about the Noir template
Will Noir work if I upload it to a job portal?
It will upload fine, but automated parsing of dark-background PDFs is less reliable than with a plain template. For portals, pair it with ParsePerfect, or submit Noir directly to the hiring manager by email.
Will it print well?
Not on a standard office printer — a black background eats toner and can look muddy. Noir is a screen-first template.
Who is it really for?
Creatives whose work is the application: designers, photographers, art directors. The dark canvas makes the resume itself part of the portfolio.
